Whistleblowing
As UNIQA, we commit to always act with integrity and adhere to applicable laws and internal regulations. The anonymous whistleblowing platform of the UNIQA Group provides our employees, customers, business partners, and other stakeholders the opportunity to report violations of legal regulations and/or compliance rules, thereby contributing to their detection.
Since 2018, the UNIQA Group has had a portal where information on non-compliance in the UNIQA Group's insurance companies can be reported. The portal is regularly updated and improved.
Group Compliance also serves as a central reporting centre. In addition to employees, external persons also have the opportunity to report non-compliance. Reports can be submitted via the whistleblowing portal, by post, by e-mail or in person to the UIG Compliance function or the local Compliance functions. In the case of non-insurance companies that fall within the scope of the EU Whistleblower Directive, the report is made to a defined independent body. Whistleblowers can submit suspicious activity reports via the portal, stating their details or, where local law permits, anonymously.
For example, you can report information in connection with financial services, money laundering and terrorist financing, corruption, market abuse, competition offences, supervisory law or consumer protection. It is possible to submit suspicious activity reports by providing your details, but also completely anonymously. You can find a complete list of reportable topics directly on the whistleblowing platform.
