Sustainability
We are deeply committed to the 1.5 degrees Celsius target of the Paris Climate Agreement. Our goal is to achieve net-zero emissions in underwriting and our own operations by 2040 in Austria and by 2050 across the Group in all core business areas. We have entered into important strategic partnerships with leading climate networks and have assumed comprehensive reporting obligations. Sustainability is a core element of our UNIQA 3.0 programme for the future and has thus become a non-negotiable criterion in our core business. Only together with our employees, our customers and other stakeholders can we make an effective contribution to a better life and a better world.
Strategy & Governance
We carefully consider the framework conditions that we believe are conducive to a better life. To do this, we engage in discourse, share our perspectives and commit to making sustainability a central part of everything we do. With our clear stance, we generate understanding and support from all our stakeholders.
